The DS3 has both tactile impression and lamination features, making it the ultimate secure ID card printer.
What is a tactile impression?
This is an imprint that is clearly visible on the card. This means ID cards offer more visual verification than a simple picture and a name. A unique image is impressed into the card's laminate and overlay while the card is being produced. The image produced can be both seen and felt. This extra layer of security is perfect for companies who struggle with fake IDs.
What is the lamination module?
This is also known as DuraGuard. This extra layer of security prevents your card from being tampered with. You can choose different types of laminates like a globe, logo etc.
This extra layer on your card prevents wear and tear and keeps your card in place for many years.
Security features include:- Magnetic stripe encoding
- Smart card encoding
- Encryption
- UV ribbon
- Colour ribbon printing
This easy-to-use card printer is available in two versions:
- The simplex version (single-sided card printing). You have to manually flip the card over every time it prints.
